Elena Kuypers, 31, was arrested at 5 p.m. after a concerned commuter called deputies about a suspected drunk driver, Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies tracked her down to Children of America daycare where she was picking up a kid.
Kuypers had a blood-alcohol level of .20, more than twice the legal limit at the time of her arrest, the incident report said. This is her second DUI arrest in 10 years.
Kuypers, who was booked as Elena McCord, was released from the Rappahannock Regional Jail after posting a $3,000 bond, the Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies handed the child to a responsible adult. It's unclear what relationship Kuypers has with the kid.
